God doesn't create struggles, but he allows it

1. you will get a new strength -

Gen 32 - Jacob wrestled with God, hip broke, and became Israel

Matthew 11 - yoke (wood putting ox together) & (custom-sized yoke) - some people live so self-reliant you live a life that does not fit you - God led life and he will give you custom built life

2. You'll get a new identity

The original one that you were meant to have

Jacob to Israel - prince of God - God does not see the way it is, God sees potential and possibilities

3. You’ll get a new joy

Joy is not external; it is internal - Joy is much deeper

Blessed - not external riches or circumstances - beatitudes - blessed is internal joy

Joy unspeakable and full of glory

1. Brokenness precedes Breakthrough

God does not seek perfection; he wants honesty

True sacrifice to God is broken spirit

God opposes the proud and show favor to the humble - humble yourselves that God may lift you up in due time

2. You must lose yourself to find yourself

Must let God lead

Don't allow what you think you want to get in the way of who God made you to be

3. In term with God, you find fulfilment
