Run with perseverance

Do not be afraid - most promises begin with this phrase
Impatience threatens to overwhelm you when you don't understand - moment of patience may save the rest of your life
Don't complicate God's promise with your solutions
1. God's promise may happen even if it takes a long time
Genesis 16 -
2. Trust God even if it seems ridiculous
Man's wisdom is foolishness to God
Sarah mockingly laughed
God is “wonderful” and strange — God is absurd sometimes
3. Trust God even if those around you don't
Negative comments make you doubt truth
Sarah considered God faithful who made the promise
1. Don't try to get ahead of God when he isn't moving fast enough for you
Be still in the presence of the Lord- God you know all things- and wait patiently. Don't worry about evil people who prosper and their comments and opinions- they are just trying to sell stuff
2. When you must wait, focus on what's happening “in” you, not “to” you - God is more interested in our character not our comfort
God created pain for our future purpose
Waiting does not diminish us; we are enlarged in our waiting; the longer the wait, closer you are to delivery, joy, and expectancy
Patience is not just the ability to wait, but what we do in our waiting
To be mature, complete, and not lacking anything
3. Even our very best cannot compare to anything God has in mind
Isaiah 64 - God works for those who wait for him

God has a much better plan for your life than you have for yourself
